Mini Post: Hi5 Has a New Food Truck!

Hello everyone!
I have exciting news for today's mini post. One of my favorite hamburger flippers in Tsukuba finally has his food truck up and running. It was a long journey for him, with many hurdles and hardships. After overcoming all that, Sakai-chan finally has his American food truck ready to dish out some amazing burgers, fries, and coming soon, onion rings. Today, I am talking about Hi-Five Burgers' new food truck.

First off, the food truck looks awesome. A lot of love went into making this food truck, and the picture above is the result. This food truck looks so good that it was featured on a Japanese TV show about a place in Bando. (It is a weird episode, check out Hi-Five's food truck and don't worry about the rest.)
I was lucky enough to grab a burger from Hi-Five's new food truck last weekend. Hi-Five, All Right Coffee, Mr. Goodman, and other food trucks got together at Chuo Park in Tsukuba to help everyone enjoy a nice lunch at the park.

Hi Sakai-chan!

When I walked up to Hi-Five's new food truck, I looked inside, and it looked massive. There was a nice-sized grill inside, cabinets everywhere, a bunch of ventilation fans, and a deep fryer. The menu has not changed too much. There are still hamburgers, cheeseburgers, bacon cheeseburgers, and double bacon cheeseburgers. The new addition to the menu is fries. One thing you should know about Hi-Five is that they grow their own potatoes. So you know these fries are going to be fresh and tasty.
I ordered a cheeseburger with a side order of fries. Sakai-chan told me to wait for a bit, and then my order was ready.

Cheeseburger with a Fried Egg

I am always happy to order a burger from Hi-Five. Look at the beautiful piece of burger art. Look at how the melted cheese covers that beef patty like an enticing waterfall of deliciousness. After admiring my burger for a little bit, I took a bite and got so many amazing flavors. The meaty and juicy beef patty with that gooey melted cheese was incredible as always. The fried egg was a very nice touch to the burger, and the buns held everything together nicely. As always, Hi-Five Burgers hits it out of the ballpark.

Amazing French Fries

It has been more than 8 years since I have eaten Hi-Five's fries. As I have stated before, Hi-Five used to have a restaurant and made amazing fries. After all those years, I popped one of those hot, amazing-looking wedges in my mouth. After trying these new fries from Hi-Five's food truck, I can gladly say that Sakai-chan still makes incredible fries. You can taste how fresh these fries are, and they are perfectly fried. Not too soft, but not too hard. Biting into these fries gives you that satisfying crunch from the outer skin followed by that soft, fluffy potato on the inside. Do be careful, they are quite hot. I did burn my tongue a bit by being a little too overexcited.

I am so glad that Hi-Five Burgers' food truck is finally going around town and selling amazing burgers. I cannot wait to have them again. Mrs. Ibaraki Eats has still not seen the new food truck in person. We need to rectify that as soon as possible.
